Shots From Summer 2012

This set consists of a few different settings that I experimented with. A set of pictures was shot in Vancouver, Gasstown during dusk time with a 135 mm lens with the aperture opening set at 3.5 to increase the shutter speed thus accommodating for the dimming light. Another set is taken indoors with same lens and aperture setting without a flashlight. As shutter speeds drop below 125 it is harder to keep the camera stable enough to take a clear shot. These pictures were shot on a ASA 200 speed film. Next picture set was shot with a faster film speed of ASA 400. Most of these were however shot on a bright spring day with a 50 mm lens. Experimenting with the depth of field and shadow and light contracts on a sunny day resulted in some interesting shots.
